Goals & Grand Visions for 2017
7 years on from my vision to create Anahata Therapies as a place to nurture, nourish, educate, empower and uplift people using the ancient art of Ayurveda feels very humbling & satisfying. My initial intention was to work on my own with 3 children still at school until Council Regulations required me to run a proper business with 4 treatment Rooms to fill. I started with one Staff member in 2010 and created my whole clientele from scratch. With a lot of hard work, dedication, passion and constant commitment the business now employs 4 Professional Staff, 2 Reception Staff and has some 3000 clients on its books.
My goal is always for people to feel special and honoured whenever they come to Anahata for a treatment or consultation. I want them to have an amazing experience rather than just a treatment. This strives to ensure that they are always empowered with knowledge and choices.

My vision for the year is to work on getting Ayurveda recognised by the Government and Health Funds as a legitimate Health Modality enabling our clients to be able to claim rebates.

My grand vision is to eventually have an Ayurvedic Retreat in the country and an Ayurvedic Hospital to treat all types of ailments naturally and in harmony with nature.

What would you like to achieve (Business/personal)?
Harmony and balance in all things.

What is most important?
Most important to me is to come from the place of the heart in all areas of my life. This is reflected in the name of the business “Anahata” which means “Heart Chakra” in Sanskrit.
