In Ayurveda Spring is a natural cleansing season. Once it gets a little warmer, the human body is wired to shed off extra winter pounds that kept us warm during the winter, flush out toxins that were accumulated from heavy cold weather foods, and lighten up preparing for warmer seasons.

The day will start with a welcome tea, followed by a 2 hour cleansing and twisting Hatha yoga practice. Afterwards you will learn pranayama techniques to purify and cleanse the body, I will show you how to incorporate these into your daily routine.
Our vegetarian lunch will be inspired by Ayurvedic spring herbs and spices and herbal teas whilst you relax in the grounds, chat by the Lily pond or go for a walk before melting into a 75 minute Yin practice to truly cleanse and refresh.

You will leave the retreat feeling rested, refreshed and awake!

The schedule for the day is outlined below:
9.45am – Welcome tea
10am – 12 noon – Cleansing Hatha Yoga Practice
12 – 12.30pm – Pranayama and Meditation
12.30 – 2.30 – lunch (break to relax, sit, chat or go for a walk)
2.30- 3.45pm Yin Yoga

Cost: $130 (includes a hot vegetarian lunch, herbal tea and yoga mats, props and blankets)
Time: Please arrive at 9.45 am for a 10am start, retreat finishes at 4pm
Wear comfortable layered clothing; bring a water bottle and journal/notebook
